variety of courses in Finance & Financial Services. Depending on their
specific needs, students can study in England for a Certificate,
Higher-Certificate, or Diploma qualification, and acquire the University of
Cambridge ESOL International Certificate in Financial English. BBSI also
offers University Foundation courses and Pre-Masters courses in Finance &
Financial Services, with a comprehensive UK university placement service.
Provided the required grades are achieved, BBSI undergraduate and
postgraduate students are assured of entry to a UK university.

Certificate Course
Our Certificate course in
Finance & Financial Services is designed to enable students, depending on
their chosen study option, to study English for finance, gain a business and
finance qualification, acquire a Certificate award from the NCFE national
awarding body and also the University of Cambridge ESOL International
Certificate in Financial English. Additionally, participants can prepare for
one of 3 further Cambridge ESOL qualifications: the First Certificate in
English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business
English Certificate (BEC).
Students will develop competent
business English and professional communication skills, and prepare for the
University of Cambridge ESOL International Certificate in Financial English
(ICFE). BBSI is an accredited ICFE Examination
Centre. The ICFE examination is prepared in conjunction with the Association
of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to meet the demand in helping
students of finance and finance professionals to demonstrate that they have
the financial English skills needed to communicate and converse with other
accounting and finance professionals within the international business
community. With the development of globally-recognised International
Accounting Standards (IAS) and greater globalisation within the world of
finance, successful candidates will have the opportunity to prove their
linguistic ability, and to pursue international career opportunities.
Additional English and Business English Qualifications.
Additionally, in the supplementary English-language elements of the course,
students have the option to study different language modules. For example,
you have the option to acquire an additional one of 3 University of
Cambridge ESOL qualifications: the First Certificate in English (FCE), the
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business English Certificate (BEC).
Alternatively, you can join our ongoing weekly English Language Workshop at
a language level to suit your needs. The course is conducted around a busy
social and activity programme, and the maximum class size is 12, which can
extend to 15 during the summer months, July-September.

Minimum English Entry Level: IELTS 5.5 (Upper-Intermediate)
Course Duration: 4-12 weeks
Entry Dates: The course is conducted year-round, and can be joined on most
Mondays throughout the year. The main entry dates are shown above.
Lessons Weekly: 30 (each of 45 minutes' duration)

20 lessons weekly in Finance & Financial Services (includes the ICFE

10 lessons weekly in English Language (selected from one of the following):

Higher-Certificate course in Finance & Financial Services is available in 2
study options, depending on your English-language level on entry. The course
is designed to enable students to gain a business and finance qualification,
acquire a Certificate award from the NCFE national awarding body and also
the University of Cambridge ESOL International Certificate in Financial
English. Additionally, participants can prepare for 2 further Cambridge ESOL
qualifications chosen from the First Certificate in English (FCE), the
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business English Certificate (BEC).
Diploma Course. Our Diploma course in Finance &
Financial Services is designed to enable students to gain a business and
finance diploma qualification, acquire a Certificate award from the NCFE
national awarding body and also the University of Cambridge ESOL
International Certificate in Financial English. Additionally, depending on
their selected study option, participants can prepare for up to 3 further
Cambridge ESOL qualifications: the First Certificate in English (FCE), the

University Foundation Course. Our University
Foundation Course in Finance & Financial Services is carefully designed to
enable students to prepare for undergraduate entry to university and also
gain worthwhile business and finance qualifications. Depending on the study
option selected, awards include either a BBSI Higher-Certificate or Diploma
qualification, plus an NCFE Certificate award and also the University of
Cambridge ESOL International Certificate in Financial English. Additionally,
depending on their selected study option, participants can prepare for up to
3 further Cambridge ESOL qualifications: the First Certificate in English (FCE),
the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business English
Certificate (BEC). The course syllabus includes extensive IELTS Examination
Preparation and Academic Study Skills. BBSI provides students with a
comprehensive UK university placement service, and if the required grades
are achieved, students are assured of entry to a UK university.
Pre-Masters in Management/Pre-MBA Courses. Our
Pre-Masters course in Finance & Financial Services is designed for
international students with either a first degree or equivalent, or a higher
diploma and relevant work experience, who are seeking to enhance their
career prospects by undertaking a postgraduate degree course in business or
finance. The aim is to gain academic English, finance and business
qualifications awarded by BBSI and the NCFE national awarding body, plus the
University of Cambridge ESOL International Certificate in Financial English.
Depending on the study option selected, students can also acquire up to 3
different University of Cambridge ESOL qualifications: the First Certificate
in English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business
