Certificate Course. Our Certificate course in
Hospitality Management & Tourism is
designed to enable students, depending on their chosen study option, to gain
a hospitality, tourism and business qualification, while also acquiring a
Certificate award from the NCFE national awarding body. Students can also
study for one of 3 different University of Cambridge ESOL examinations: the
First Certificate in English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English
(CAE), or the Business English Certificate (BEC).

Schools, offers international students the opportunity to study business
English while also studying the concepts and learning the skills required
for a career in the hospitality and tourism industries. Our Certificate
Course in Hospitality Management & Tourism can be studied for periods of
between 4 and 12 weeks. The course comprises 30 lessons weekly and is
carefully designed to enable international students at an Upper-Intermediate
Level in English or above to gain a hospitality management and tourism
qualification, while also gaining a certificate award from the NCFE national
awarding body.
Students will develop competent English and professional communication
skills. Moreover, in the supplementary English-language elements of the
course, students have the option to study for one of 3 different University
of Cambridge ESOL† qualifications: the First Certificate in English (FCE),
the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business English
Certificate (BEC). Alternatively, you can opt to join our ongoing weekly
English Language Workshop‡ (ELW) at a language level to suit your needs. The
course is conducted around a busy social and activity programme, and the
maximum class size is 12, which can extend to 15 during the summer months,
July-September.

Course Duration: 4-12 weeks
Entry Dates: The course is conducted year-round, and can be joined on most
Mondays throughout the year. The main entry dates are shown above.
Lessons Weekly: 30 (each of 45 minutes' duration)

20 lessons weekly in Hospitality Management & Tourism
10 lessons weekly in English Language (selected from one of the following):
preparation for the University of Cambridge FCE /CAE/BEC or English Language

Higher-Certificate Course. Our Higher-Certificate course in
Hospitality Management & Tourism is available in 2 study options, depending
on your English-language level on entry. Students gain a hospitality,
tourism and business qualification, while also acquiring a Certificate award
from the NCFE national awarding body. Participants can also prepare for an
additional 2 different University of Cambridge ESOL qualifications selected
from the First Certificate in English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced
English (CAE), or the Business English Certificate (BEC).
Diploma Course. Our Diploma course in Hospitality Management &
Tourism enables students to gain a useful hospitality, tourism and business
diploma qualification, while also acquiring a Certificate award from the
NCFE national awarding body. Students can also prepare for up to 3 different
University of Cambridge ESOL qualifications: the First Certificate in
English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or the Business
English Certificate (BEC).
University Foundation Course. Our University Foundation Course in
Hospitality Management & Tourism is carefully designed to enable students to
prepare for undergraduate entry to university and also gain worthwhile
hospitality, tourism and business qualifications. Depending on the study
option selected, awards include either a BBSI Higher-Certificate or Diploma
qualification, plus an NCFE Certificate; students can also prepare for up to
3 different University of Cambridge ESOL qualifications: the First
Certificate in English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or
the Business English Certificate (BEC). The course syllabus includes
extensive IELTS Examination Preparation and Academic Study Skills. BBSI
provides students with a comprehensive UK university placement service, and
if the required grades are achieved, students are assured of entry to a UK
university.
Pre-Masters Course. Our Pre-Masters course in Hospitality Management
& Tourism is designed for international students with either a first degree
or equivalent, or a higher diploma and relevant work experience, who are
seeking to enhance their career prospects by undertaking a postgraduate
degree course in a hospitality, tourism or business-related subject. The aim
is to gain academic English, hospitality, tourism and business
qualifications awarded by BBSI and the NCFE national awarding body; in
addition, depending on the study option selected, students can prepare for
up to 3 different University of Cambridge ESOL qualifications: the First
Certificate in English (FCE), the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), or
the Business English Certificate (BEC). The course syllabus includes
extensive preparation for the IELTS Examination and Advanced Study Skills.
BBSI provides students with a comprehensive UK university placement service,
and if the required grades are achieved, students are assured of entry to a
UK university.
